Accidental shooting wounds three-year-old

FLORISSANT, MO (KTVI) – Police say a three-year-old was wounded during an accidental shooting Saturday afternoon in Florissant. The incident happened in the 1100 block of Paddock Drive around 5:00pm.

The child was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No other details have been released.  The investigation is ongoing.

FOX 2 has confirmed that the wounded child  is a cousin to Mike Brown, the 18-year-old shot and killed in August 2014 by then Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson.
