Aldermen consider $8 million tax break for Laclede Gas Move

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) –  St. Louis Aldermen will consider a controversial tax break for the Koman Group on Wednesday. The developers are looking to help Laclede Gas move its headquarters downtown, just a few blocks, to Market Street.

A city zoning committee will consider more than $8 million dollars in tax breaks for the move. Critics call it, “Corporate Welfare.”
