ST. LOUIS, MO. (KTVI) – So how does a cold can of Lambert airport sound? Anheuser-Busch has filed applications with the U.S. Patent Office for forty two airport codes.
While the Saint Louis based company hasn’t announced what their plans are yet, it’s assumed they’re planning to make beers named after airports.
The patents will cost the beer maker $11,500 in fees.
This follows a similar effort last year when Anheuser-Busch bought up trademarks to various area codes.
