BRENTWOOD, MO (KTVI)-The “Monday Mascot” on our sister station, KPLR 11, was a Chihuahua named Cassidy. The APA of Missouri says she is one of a group of 30 Chihuahuas brought to Missouri because Phoenix-area animal shelters are overrun with the small dogs.  Many of the Chihuahuas have been adopted, but a few are still available.

Interested in adopting a pet? The APA is located at 1705 South Hanley Road in Brentwood, MO. You can call them at 314-645-4610 or visit their website: http://www.apamo.org/home.aspx
