"And was told that he had been accepted into the St. Louis Art Fair which was always one of his goals when he was a student." said retired art teacher Pamela Senti.
On Wednesday in Clayton, Rasmusson was showcasing some of his work including this pot that will be presented to Sterling Bank. They're donating $100,000 towards the art fair.
For this series of pots that Gregg has been working on, he says he gets his inpiration from elements of nature and mid-century modern design.
"Gregg is a very good example of how a young person can have dreams and have those dreams come true as an artist." said Pamela Senti.
