FERGUSON, MO (KTVI) – While the Ferguson-Florissant school district cancelled classes for the rest of the week, that hasn’t stopped students from getting in some lessons.
Over 100 kids showed up to the Ferguson Municipal Public Library on Thursday, according to St. Louis City Alderman Antonio French. He tweeted pictures of kids doing projects, reading and mingling with teachers and volunteers. Teachers told French 160 kids.
Captain Ron Johnson and several troopers also stopped by the makeshift school.
