Authorities Searching For Person In The River Near Boone Bridge

ST. CHARLES, MO. (KTVI) – The St. Charles Fire Department has launched a rescue boat from the St. Charles riverfront to assist in the search for the report of a missing woman in the Missouri River, near the Boone Bridge.  

This all started with reports from motorist on the Boone Bridge, saying a woman was walking on foot the bridge.  When police arrived, the woman was nowhere to be seen.

Fearing the woman may have jumped from the Boone Bridge, picked up by a motorist or just what happened is at question this hour.

Currently, Cottleville Police, Monarch Fire and St. Charles Fire Department are involved in the search.
