Best times and places to watch the ‘strawberry’ supermoon

ST. LOUIS – The last supermoon of the year will appear this week.

It’s called the “strawberry” moon. It was named a long time ago by Native Americans for the fruit harvested during this time of the year.

It will appear bigger and be the closest to Earth in its orbit.

Peak illumination will happen on Thursday night, and every night through Saturday.
