NORMANDY, MO (KTVI) - A three-week string of robberies have Normandy police and other departments thinking the same guy did it all.

Photos released by Normandy police show a man in the act, and the same man could be linked to robberies at a Circle K in Brentwood and BP station on S. Hanley in Maplewood. His MO is the same.

According to our partners at the St. Louis Post Dispatch the guy police call “Blue Robbing Hood” is known for wearing a blue hoodie and camouflage boonie hat.

The robber walks into the store selects a cheap item and when the clerk opens the register he snatches the cash and bolts from the store.

Another similarity is the crimes all happened in the early morning hours. The latest store hit was in Normandy on Tuesday.

According to reports at least 12 stores have been robbed, but the Normandy store clerks say the numbers were as high as 18.  So far there are no reported injuries.

Investigators are looking for a black male between 6 and 6-two and 200 pounds with facial hair. He’s also between 30 and 40 years old.
