Body found in north St. Louis neighborhood

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – St. Louis police were called to the Greater Ville neighborhood Tuesday afternoon in north city after a body was discovered in an alley.

The body of a 49-year old white male was located around 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of Greer and Clay avenues.

Police are investigating this as a  "suspicious death" pending the results of an autopsy. The victim has not yet been positively identified.
