Body Pulled From Mississippi River

DOWNTOWN ST. LOUIS, MO. (KTVI) – Around 8:00 p.m. the St. Louis Fire Department was called to the riverfront for a body in the river.  The fire dept marine task force did remove a body of an adult.  The body seems to have been in the water for some time and it is unknown if this is a male or female.

The body was spotted by barge workers about a mile south of downtown.

The medical examiner will need time to determine the identity of the victim.
