Boy hurt in accidental gunfire at Illinois gun range

OAK FOREST, Ill. – Authorities say a boy was wounded in accidental gunfire at a suburban Chicago gun range. Oak Forest police say the boy and his father were in a showroom at Eagle Sports Range on Saturday afternoon when someone accidentally shot a firearm. The boy was hit in the stomach with a ricochet. His injuries weren’t considered life-threatening. Oak Forest police are investigating. The gun range hasn’t commented.
