Boy Scouts Place Flags On Graves At Jefferson Barracks

SOUTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO. (KTVI) – Area scouts spent Sunday at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, placing flags on the graves of soldiers at Jefferson Barracks.  Approximately four thousand Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venturers decorated each of the 189,000 graves with an American flag.

This is the 63rd annual "Good Turn", on the day before Memorial Day.

The scouts were thanked by 2nd Lt. Brian Light of the U.S. Marines.

There will be a Memorial Day service at Jefferson Barracks Monday at 10:00 am.
