Kansas City, MO - Three burglars chose the wrong home to break into. The homeowner recorded video of them running scared after a surprise encounter. He is usually at work during the week, but was home sick.

"Once I turned the corner and saw this 15-year-old kid." said home invasion victim Nathan Engert.

Many would hide as the suspects started looking for things to steal , not Engert.  These three suspects had no way of knowing that Engert is a blue belt in Brazilian Jujitsu; he had them by 100lbs.

"It hurts. This time brings back memories of last time." said Nathan Engert.

Unfortunately, Nathan knew the feeling. It was about a year ago, someone barged in and cleaned him out. It was then Nathan decided he need to do something, so he bought a camera.

What the camera caught is priceless. The three took one look at Engert, and took off!

"They were more surprised then I was.  They were way more scared than I was." said Nathan Engert. "What I hope is, not so much to catch the guys, that would be great, but to help other people avoid this feeling. It is an awful feeling."

Police have not announced any arrests. They do have fingerprints from where one of the intruders who touched a TV.
