ST. CLAIR COUNTY, IL (KTVI) – A Cahokia man has been charged with voting twice during Illinois’ primary election. Harvey D. Mirgaux, Jr., 62, was charged with a felony in St. Clair County Circuit Court. He was taken into custody on Tuesday.
Mirgaux is accused of knowingly casting two ballots in the same election, the primary held last month.
The case was investigated by the Illinois State Police.
Bail for Mirgaux was set at $5,000. He was not in the St. Clair County Jail as of Wednesday afternoon.
