ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-- It was a heartbreaking end to a great season.  Cardinals fans watching the 6th game of the World Series were disappointed when the Boston Red Sox won.

The game ended just before 10:30 p.m.

Some fans watching at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Creve Coeur were chanting, 'Wacha, Wacha, Wacha' during the 1st few innings.

When the Red Sox scored 3 runs to take the lead, some fans dropped their heads into their hands.

"It`s been a good season," said one fan.

Another praised the Cardinals for winning the National League Championship and feel the future is still bright.

"We will stand by our team," said one fan.  "No matter what."
