CDC briefs airlines on handling the Ebola virus

(KTVI) – Concerns over the spread of the Ebola virus could prompt major changes on international flights.

The CDC is now advising airline crews to treat all bodily fluids as infectious.

It’s telling airlines, that if Ebola is suspected, the aircraft can be cleaned mid-flight.

The CDC is also reminding airlines that they can stop someone from boarding, if they appear sick.

About 200,000 people from nations hit by the deadly virus reportedly have visas to travel to the U.S.
