Cell phones taken in two robberies overnight

SOUTH ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-St. Louis police say two people had their cell phones stolen at gunpoint overnight.  A man in the 4000 block of Minnesota in south St. Louis called police just after 3:00am. Two men, at least one with a weapon, took his cell phone then left the area in a dark colored vehicle.

A similar robbery took place just after 4:30am in the 4000 block of Manchester.  The victim said he was struck from behind and his wallet and cell phone were taken.

Police are investigating both crimes.
