ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - There are new detours at Lambert Airport affecting arriving passengers at Terminal One.  Starting this week,  if you are looking for ground transportation shuttles to the airport parking lots or Terminal Two, the van and shuttle pick up area will move from the curb to the center island.

The problem is passengers will not be able to simply walk to the middle from the curb because the traffic lanes closest to the bag claim area are under construction.

Instead, passengers will have to take the elevator up to the green level from the bag claim area to get to the crosswalk that will take them out to the center island.  There are signs and "Information Ambassadors" walking through the bag claim area to get you pointed in the right direction.  The detour is part of the on-going airport renovations.

And there is also this reminder: The alternate passenger pickup area in the Terminal One garage is still in effect so if you are picking someone on the yellow level, you get a free 15 minute grace period in the garage.
The airport suggests you use the cell phone lots to confirm the person you are picking up has arrived before you enter the garage.
