ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – The mission of the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization is to “provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.”

This week, however, their mission took on a four legged friend.

Donation bins for clothes are located at several locations to sponsor the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. When the bin at the Wal-Mart in Ferguson was collected and rummaged through, a one-week-old puppy is what Shaun Derienzo found.

The puppy was taken to an animal hospital and has already been adopted. The puppy, like the children in Big Brothers Big Sisters organization, has shown its strength and endurance through the adversity it has faced. Derienzo has made sure that this fur baby’s life is changed for the better, forever.
