Chesterfield Police have arrested a suspect in connection to a robbery home invasion that occurred on February 17, 2012. Richard James Lynch, 42, of O’Fallon, Missouri has been arrested and charged with Burglary in the First Degree, 2 Counts of Robbery in the First Degree, Assault in the Second Degree, 2 Counts of Felonious Restraint and four counts of Armed Criminal Action.
It’s alleged that Lynch forced his way into the victim’s home at gunpoint, taking jewelry and other personal property, while striking the victim in the head. The victim received only minor injures.
Lynch is being held in the St. Louis County Jail on $250,000 cash bond.
