ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- A Chicago based baking company is accused of illegal dumping in south St. Louis. Pictures show old bread products being unloaded from an Alpha Baking Company truck in an alley in the Bevo Mill neighborhood.
Those bread products filled a residential dumpster to the brim. Not only is this illegal but it also appears to be wasteful.
Authorities say Alpha Baking Company officials are aware of the incident and have disciplined the driver. They say it was the driver’s decision to dump the bread and not company policy.
City officials also plan to discipline Alpha Baking Company over the illegal dumping.
