WASHINGTON, D.C. (KTVI) – St. Louis police chief Sam Dotson says his department can do a better job diversifying the police department.  Dotson joined the mayors from Chicago, and New Orleans on a community policing panel in Washington, D.C. Wednesday.

Dotson says it’s about more than just reflecting the community.

The panel discussion was part of the U.S. Conference of Mayors in Washington.
