ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Some Christmas tree farms are feeling the drought.  In Moline, Illinois, this time last year, these tree farmers were caring for 3000 thriving Christmas trees.  Now, one year later, some trees are brown and being pulled from the lot.  An estimated 900 trees have already been killed by the drought.  There won’t be a shortage of trees for this year, but the impact could be felt in about 5 years.
