ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - The Light Up the Night Fat Tuesday parade will take over the streets of downtown St. Louis at 5:30 p.m.

The weather is expected to be extremely cold.

The parade will be on Washington Ave. Floats will fill the streets to celebrate Mardi Gras.

Several downtown bars will offer drink specials and have live music. Some of the participating bars include Lucas Park, Side Bar, and Rosalita’s. Those who attend the parade will be spending a lot of time outside, so dress for the weather.

Organizers have cancelled the IdiotDash races because of the weather.
