Variety St. Louis has given away over 3,800 bikes in the past 23 years. Some of these children are riding a bike for the very first time!

Over 100 volunteers from 12 different companies gathered to help build 254 bikes for children with special needs. That’s 254 children – 254 families that they’ve helped!

42 of these bikes were custom built to cater to children with special needs and included various additions to ensure they had a smooth ride.

St. Louis and Chesterfield police officers were also in attendance and helped to fit helmets for Variety.

It’s the Bikes For Kids charity event! Visit to learn more and get involved next year.
