MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO (KTVI)-- With her trusty border collies at her side, Dorene Olson looks like a dog walker, but really, she`s a goosebuster.  Her company is called Wyndsong Canadian Goose Management.

And for the past several years, Olson has been working the Riverport Business Park, a popular nesting area for geese, using her dogs to scare the geese away from the parking lots if the birds have been harassing employees.

The geese become aggressive when they nest and this year, they are doing it about a month earlier than normal.

'This particular site, this particular gander, I am working him up to three times a day, and he doesn`t care,' said Olson.

Still, Olson shows up sometimes three times a day to release the dogs to move the geese.

'Usually they will go into a water body if there is water available. You`ll see my dogs are fitted with life jackets because they do the same thing in the water,' said Olson.

If you are dealing with a goose problem, Olson recommends carrying an umbrella.

'They deflect the wing waps, they have got a hard bony knob on their elbow joint which is what they use to break people with,' adding, 'it hurts.
