ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)– Walk the streets of Downtown St. Louis, look at the same buildings that have been around for decades, and you’d probably never guess that the region’s new economy is being built inside the city’s old infrastructure.

Hundreds of high-tech startups, and a respectable number of companies that have been here for years, are turning St. Louis, especially Downtown, into a thriving tech community.  Tens of millions of dollars, and hundreds of new full-time jobs, are now tied directly to technology. And because of affordable power supplies and a fast broadband backbone, the City and region are poised for even stronger growth in the next few years.
