Convenience store robbed, clerk shot on South Grand

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – St. Louis Police are looking for two suspects in the robbery of convenience store on South Grand in  St. Louis late Monday. Around 9:30pm, two black males, both between 18 and 22 years old, walked into the  Seven Plus Grocery, Deli and Bakery. One of the men, who was wearing a white shirt and hat, fired shots at the worker behind the counter, striking him in the face and torso. The second suspect, in a purple tank top, then jumped the counter and stole money and cigarettes. Both suspects then fled the store.

The 38-year-old wounded worker is listed in critical but stable condition at a hospital.

The  investigation is ongoing.
