Convenience store murder nets 50 years in prison for shooter

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – A plea deal is reached in the murder of a south St. Louis convenience store owner. Joseph Fox made the deal days before he was due to stand trial. He received 5 life sentences that will be served at the same time, and 20 years for robbery for a total punishment of 50 years in prison.

He was charged with shooting and killing Haris Gogic and injuring his brother during a robbery at the Quick Stop on Chippewa in 2013.
