ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KTVI) – Cor Jesu academy students, faculty and staff helped a restaurant owner whose business was damaged during the Ferguson unrest.

Owners of El Palenque prepared a special lunch Tuesday at the private catholic girls high school in South County.

There were four menu choices, including tamales and quesadillas.

The Ferguson restaurant lost all of its front windows and sustained damage to the building as well as a loss of customers.

Three-thousand dollars was raised from the purchased lunches and will help Joel and Maria Flores rebuild.
