ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – Arrested   for a crime he didn’t commit, Cornealious Anderson is now suing the City of St. Louis for false arrest and violating his civil rights. Anderson was arrested and charged with a downtown robbery back in November. But surveillance video later showed he was at a party with his wife at the time of the crime.

The charges were dropped and the circuit attorney apologized.

Before that Anderson had been the subject of national attention when it was revealed the state of Missouri never called him to start serving a 13-year sentence on a robbery case.
