Over 2,000 vaccines to be administered in south county mass vaccination clinic

Coronavirus

ST. LOUIS COUNTY – There’s another mass vaccination clinic Saturday at South Technical High School off of South Watson Road from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Around 2,200 vaccinations will be given out to those who have appointments.

Despite news of 15 million Johnson and Johnson COVID vaccines being scrapped for quality control issues, Missouri officials say the CDC has yet to clearly articulate what the impact will be.

Our partners at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch report Missouri could eventually stand to lose about 265-thousand Johnson and Johnson doses.

Pfizer will provide additional vaccine supplies for the short term.

Another mass vaccination event is scheduled to take place at the Kennedy Recreation Center on Wells Road, Thursday.

It is running from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
