EAGLE POINT, Ore.– A man dished out old-fashioned cowboy justice Friday morning in a town in southern Oregon. The Eagle Point Police Department posted photos on their Facebook page of a man on a horse who lassoed a would-be bicycle thief.

KOBI-TV reports a woman walked out of a Walmart store around 10 a.m. and saw a man take off with her bike. That’s when a man got his horse out of a trailer and began the chase. He successfully lassoed the man and waited for police to arrive.

The man was arrested for theft, the police department said. He was identified as Victorino Sanchez, according to KOBI-TV.

The bicycle was returned to its owner.
