Credit Union Workers Robbed While Stocking ATM

O’FALLON, IL (KTVI)- Two employees of a O’Fallon, IL bank were robbed Friday as they worked to load money into an ATM.  Around noon, the employees were working on the ATM at the Scott Credit Union on W. Highway 50, when a suspect came up from behind and forcibly took the money.  The suspect, a white man wearing a black hoodie and flesh colored mask, indicated that he had a weapon but never showed one. He fled north on foot, heading towards Eagle Ridge apartments/business park.

When police arrived, they attempted to track the suspect using a K-9 without success.

The two employees were not injured. The investigation continues.  Anyone with information regarding the case should contact O’Fallon Police Department at 618-624-4545.
