CRESTWOOD, MO (KTVI) - One man hasn’t seen his motorcycle since two potential buyers took it for a test drive a week ago.

David Smith had listed his motorcycle on Craigslist.

On the afternoon of Friday, September 2, 2016, Smith and his son met two potential buyers in the parking lot of Sam's Club in Crestwood. They talked for a while about the bike, then the man asked if he could take it for a test drive around the parking lot.

Smith asked the two of them for their wallets and purse before they left, but he also got a weird feeling and snapped a few pictures.

"Then the gentleman hopped on the bike, the next thing we know the girl was jumping on the back, and they were gone they took off, we thought they were going around the parking lot and within probably two minutes time we saw them on the main street headed towards the highway," Smith said.

Smith called the police within 10 minutes.

The suspects left their wallet, purse and car at the scene. Police are working to identify the suspects.

Smith is offering a $300 reward to anyone with information that can lead to charges against these individuals.
