BELLEVILLE, IL (KTVI) - A key player in the St. Clair County courthouse scandal pleaded guilty Thursday for his involvement in a drug scandal that included two St. Clair County judges and several other people.

Sean McGilvery, 34, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute heroin. He will be sentenced in January and faces ten years in prison.

Court documents called former St. Clair County Judge Michael Cook one of McGilvery's "regular customers."   Court documents also state Cook visited McGilvery's Belleville home to "pick up amounts of heroin on an almost daily basis."
