OAKLAND, Calif. — Have you heard the story of the goat and the burro?   It sounds like an unlikely pairing, but the story will tug at your heartstrings.

The video posted to YouTube tells the story of a goat named Mr. G. who got really depressed after being separated from a burro he had lived with for years.

But after a few days, caretakers noticed that Mr. G. was depressed and wouldn’t eat.  He would only lay in the corner of his stall.

The shelters decided to take action and a volunteer drove 14 hours to reunite the two.

Mr. G. perked up, and after six days, ate with his friend, Jellybean!
