CREVE COUER, MO (KTVI)-- A special group is out to prove this weekend that physical limitations can't keep people from having a good time on the water.

It's the 6th year for Summer Splash 2014. As many as 50 disabled folks will get a chance to water ski and just have fun on the lake. Another 50 volunteers are on hand to make it happen.

If you are one of the athletes it’s difficult to put into words how exciting this day is.

If you're disabled come on out Saturday. No matter you're disability they promise a great time.
