ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) -Darick Stallworth pleaded guilty to animal neglect charges Monday morning in court.  HIs grandmother fainted when he entered the plea.

Darick Stallworth pleaded guilty to three felony counts of neglect in an animal abuse case. A second man was already convicted of misdemeanor neglect.

It was May 15th when Stray Rescue got a call about a dead dog hanging from a second flow window sill on Wells Avenue. They arrived and started searching the abandoned building. Inside they found five dogs in total were, some burned, one strangled, and all dead.

The group put out a reward of $10,000 in the case and soon someone turned in Darick Stallworth.  Stray Rescue says he has a history of animal abuse and that the big reward will now hopefully put an end to it with the three-felony convictions.
