Since 1969 the St. Louis Men’s Group Against Cancer Has raised millions of dollars for local cancer-related organizations like the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge.
For the first time this year the group gifted pediatric brain cancer charity Joshua’s Great Things Foundation as well as other organizations.
The group also announced hall of fame football coach Lou Holtz will be the guest speaker at its annual men’s dinner this fall.
In 2015, the dinner raised more than a quarter million dollars for St. Louis-area cancer patients and their families.
