Early morning shooting leaves two injured along West Florissant


ST. LOUIS – Police are investigating after two people were shot Friday morning.

The shooting happened around 1:45 a.m. along West Florissant and Thrush.

Police said a 27-year-old male victim was found inside Northway Market in the 5500 block of West Florissant with a gunshot wound to his leg.

The second victim told police she was walking to her car when she saw the suspect holding a gun at the corona of West Florissant and Thrush. She said she heard shots and saw damage had been done to her car from the bullets. She told police she knows the suspect.

The suspect then fled the scene and soon after officers found a third victim with a gunshot wound to his arm.

Both shooting victims have been listed in stable condition.

Investigators are working to determine what led up to the shooting.
