EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. – Black Woodstock in East St. Louis worked to get the word out about Black-owned businesses in the area Sunday.
Instead of music acts, more than 200 Black-owned businesses were featured. Some came from as far away as Chicago and Detroit to take part.
Organizers said they hope the event encouraged more people to bring their businesses to East St. Louis.
The event also had musical performances, food, and games.
