ELLISVILLE, MO. (KTVI) – The Ellisville police are investigating an incident where woman in a white van stopped two 13-year-old boys in the 1500 block of Polaris Drive to ask about a suspicions white van in the news on Saturday, August 17th. Police believe the woman was referring to an attempted abduction that occurred on August 14th, when a10-year-old girl was stopped by a woman in a white van and asked if she needed a ride.
That girl immediately ran home and informed her mother of the incident, who notified the police.
Police say the woman did not harm the two boys, nor entice them into to her van.
The Ellisville police are reminding the public to be aware of what’s around them and to talk to their children about safety, now that schools are back in session.
