Police in Colorado found a thief in an unlikely place. Adrian Kline works as an embalmer at a funeral home. He’s accused of removing gold crowns from the teeth of the deceased.
Police recovered several of the crowns from local pawn shops. A shop manager called police after she got suspicious about where the gold was coming from. Kline has apparently done this before.
He was fired from another funeral home after a deceased man’s jewelry went missing. Kline says he had fallen on hard times and was just trying to support his wife and eight children. He says the only pieces he took were already thrown away.
