CHICAGO, IL (KTVI)- A Chicago man was taken into custody at his job after police say he robbed his co-worker at gunpoint. Larry Murdock is being held on bond for felony armed robbery.
According to WGN-TV, Murdoch was an employee at the Jewel Osco store in the city’s Lakeview neighborhood. He still had his uniform on when he appeared in court.
Prosecutors say Murdock invited a 19-year-old co-worker to hang out with him Monday night. But when the teen showed up, Murdock and an accomplice robbed him at gunpoint.
They allegedly stole cash, jewelry, boots, a hat, and an iPhone.
Police say Murdock called the victim to say he could have his belongings back for $1,200.
The victim pointed out Murdock to officers the next day at the Jewel-Osco.
