ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Former Navy Seal and Missouri native Eric Greitens is considering a run for governor. The St. Louis Republican launched an exploratory committee last month.
Greitens started “The Mission Continues” a national organization that helps returning veterans adjust to civilian life. He believes Missourians are tired of politicians and are looking for real leaders.
“What real leaders do is create results for people, that’s what they do. They act with courage, we create a vision together we act with compassion because we care about each other and we find ways to move forward.” said Eric Greitens.
Greitens wrote a book called, “Resilience: A Hard Won Wisdom For Living A Better Life.” He has a book signing tonight at the St. Louis Public Library Monday AT 7pm. It’s at the central branch on Olive in the main auditorium.
