ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Some Facebook fans are  not happy about a study that was done by the social networking site.  The company revealed that it manipulated the news feeds of over half a million random users as a psychological experiment.

Facebook’s goal was to see how negative news feeds affected peoples’ comments, moods and social media use on a day to day basis.  The researchers who led the study did not apologize but added that Google and Yahoo have done similar studies.
