ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – People were lined up to get into Fair St. Louis’ new location, Forest Park Thursday evening. And between weather, parking, and the location, Fair St. Louis will definitely have a different feel.
Vendors spent most of the day setting up and the main attraction, along with the fireworks, is the music. The stage was set up for Thursday’s first concert by the band “Perry” which takes the stage at 7:45 p.m.

One great attraction for young children to look forward to is the Ameren Purina Family Festival Zone which has a special area for kids of all ages. It has 13 attractions, face painting is available or the Magic House will help you make an Uncle Sam hat. There will be a glow in the dark mini golf hole and a chance to climb a rock wall.
The Grand Basin the Wake Challenge also got underway featuring performances by the Lake St. Louis Water Ski Club and Midwest Nightfly Waterboarders.
At 6 p.m. a children’s parade will begin and throughout the St. Louis Zoo.
The Smash Band takes the stage at the same time. Later this evening Thompson Square and The Band Perry perform followed by The Flying Wallendas featuring Tino Wallenda over The Grand Basin. Finally everyone’s favorite, the fireworks will light up the night skies.
As usual, Fair St. Louis has something for everyone and it’s all free.
