TOWN AND COUNTRY, MO (KTVI)-- Thousands of golf fans swarmed Bellerive Country Club for day two of the Senior PGA Championship.

Several local stars have walked the links at Bellerive with large galleries following them, but no single golfer stood out as the biggest star of the day.

Sunny skies, slight breeze, temperatures in the 70s. What some fans are calling perfection in the shade. You could not have asked for a better day for a round of golf at Bellerive.

Local pro golfers Hale Irwin, Jay Haas, and Jay Delsing had the biggest galleries watching them throughout the day.

Jay Haas had a rough front nine this afternoon, and is wrapping up his round right now.

The crowd has been steady all day, several thousand golf fans eating, drinking, and buying souvenirs.

And again, they say the biggest star Friday has been Mother Nature.
